Owner Kathy Figueroa

Owner Kathy Figueroa wanted a farm to be able to retire her families first horse Sailor at. He was a member of the family and she couldn't send him away.  She also wanted a small farm where horses would receive excellent care.  Ryegate is founded on that main principal.  Kathy understands the deep connection owners have with their horses and strives to give the best care possible.  She also loves to compete and learn, dressage is a sport you can keep getting better at.  She has audited the L program twice, earned her certificate from the USDF University and earned her USDF rider awards at training and first level. She will be competing her mare Gold Essence at second level this season.
